S.A.F.E. Handling applies to individual groomers, apprentices, and anyone else working in the salon that comes in contact with animals. Pets must be handled and treated humanely; the pet’s safety is the TOP priority. All grooming salon employees must be trained and knowledgeable about the safe handling of pets. The AKC S.A.F.E. Handling Course will provide the tools and self-awareness you need to safely interact with pets.

All participants that complete the course will receive a printable certificate.
