Our online Puppy Training Series can help set the stage for future in-person training in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, where your puppy can improve and learn new skills under expert supervision and interact with other dogs.

Here is the course outline:

1. Meet the Trainer and Pups

A quick introduction to your trainer, Jamie Popper and the puppies featured throughout this series.

2. The First Days Home

This course will help you create a safe home environment, shop for essential supplies, pick up your puppy, establish routines, and more.

3. Crate Training

This course will help you choose the right crate, introduce and release your puppy from the crate, play crate games, and manage your puppy's behavior while in the crate.

4. Potty Training

This course will cover potty training preparation, potty training using the crate, all the basics, handling accidents, and more.

5. Socialization

In this course, we'll guide you through essential training methods and desensitization activities for your puppy.

6. Play & Activities

In this course, you'll learn how to train the skills out, touch, switch, fetch, and more.

7. Training Basic Skills

In this course, you'll learn to teach your puppy to sit, down, come, stay, leave it, and name response.

8. A Polite Puppy

In this course, you'll learn to teach your pup to wait patiently to be fed, greet family members and visitors politely, and wait at open doors.
